2012 Nightfall Music Series

Dirty Bourbon River Show will perform their eclectic style of folk gypsy circus rock at Miller Plaza in downtown Chattanooga beginning at 8 p.m. Their soulful sound serves as “entrance music for a magical mystery tour of whiskey-soaked French Quarter back alleys,” says one critic. The Nightfall Concert Series is held each Friday night – rain or shine.

Local indie movies to be screened at Heritage House

ChattaMovies will be hosting Open Screen Night at 7 p.m. at The Heritage House in East Brainerd. The organizers will screen about two hours of independently-produced short works by movie makers from Chattanooga and the surrounding region. Admission for the event is free. Jim Smith, one of the event’s organizers, says he thinks of Open Screen Night as an “open mic night” for indie movie makers. “We don’t even jury the submissions. Everyone’s film has a chance to be seen. There’s no better way to support the local indie artist than to watch his or her works being screened.”
