I-75 crash statement from Travis Close

As many of you have already learned, Travis Close, president of the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors, was involved in Thursday’s deadly crash along I-75, which took the lives of six people and injured half a dozen others. Mr. Close, his wife Tina and two children, ages 6 and 12, had just left home and were on their way to a family vacation destination. He released the following statement to the media:

“On the evening of Thursday, June 25, my family and I witnessed a horrific event that will forever live in our minds. We are very lucky to have survived this terrible incident, and our hearts go out to the crash victims, their families and friends, and everyone else affected by this wreck. I appreciate the community’s interest in our well-being and look forward to learning more about law enforcement’s findings in this crash investigation.”
