Attorneys Brad Davis of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel and Erika Hyde of Miller & Martin are among the 45 up-and-comers who will make up the 2018-19 class of Leadership Chattanooga.
Established in 1984 by the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Chattanooga uses the exploration of community issues to develop leadership skills that prepare graduates to succeed in prominent business, cultural and political roles. The program boasts almost 1,200 alumni.
“Leadership Chattanooga helps class members learn about our community from different perspectives, even if they’ve made Chattanooga their home for years,” says Christy Gillenwater, Chamber president and CEO.
“Not only do they learn, they serve. Leadership Chattanooga service projects make an impact, and we see grads continuing to be inspired about giving back long after they’ve completed the program.”
Davis represents clients in a range of trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. He focuses primarily on business litigation.
Davis also handles a variety of regulatory compliance matters for clients at the local, state and federal levels of government.
Before joining Chambliss, Davis practiced law for several years at an Am Law 100 law firm in Atlanta, where he represented numerous Fortune 500 companies and other clients in litigation and regulatory matters.
Davis is a 2004 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Vanderbilt University.
Hyde assists real estate developers and companies in their commercial real estate matters. She also represents institutional lenders on a variety of transactions.
Hyde attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate studies and then earned her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, where she received several top honors for her activities in the school’s Mock Trial and Moot Court programs.
The Leadership Chattanooga program year kicks off in August with an orientation and two-day retreat, with monthly sessions beginning in September. The program culminates with a graduation in May 2019.
