Jeremy Ames and Liza Fix Heath are the new owners of First Title Insurance Company, a full service title company in business since 1983.
A licensed attorney in the state of Tennessee, Ames joined First Title in 2005. In addition to his JD from Tulane University School of Law, Ames attended Austin Peay State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science. When not in a closing, Ames performs title searches and file updates. He is a member of the Chattanooga and the Tennessee Bar Associations.
Fox joined First Title in 2006. She is a licensed attorney in Tennessee and Georgia She is also a licensed Tennessee Title Insurance Agent. Fox brought over 18 years of experience as an attorney in the title industry to First Title. She attended the University of Hollins in Hollins, Va., where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree, and attended the University of Memphis, where she received her JD degree. Fox is a member of the Chattanooga and Tennessee Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association and the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors.
Located at 1303 Carter Street in downtown Chattanooga, First Title Insurance Company specializes in residential and commercial sales and refinance transactions. With three attorneys on staff, First Title can also address the legal needs of its clients.
