Registration is now open for the 2016 Governor’s Housing Conference, to be held Oct. 12-13 at the Music City Center in downtown Nashville.
Edward DeMarco, the man who led the conservatorships of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac during the post-crisis recovery, will kick off the conference as the keynote speaker during the opening lunch.
DeMarco was constantly in headlines and the congressional spotlight as the acting director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency from 2009 to 2014. During his address on Wednesday, Oct. 12, he’ll share his insights into the crisis and the recovery.
In addition, panelists and presenters will be tackling the toughest questions about residential development, construction, lending, and sales from the public, private, and nonprofit perspectives during roundtables and educational sessions.
The content of the conference will be geared toward homebuilders, developers, property managers, lenders, Realtors, nonprofit organizations, and anyone else involved in providing housing opportunities to Tennessee families.
Early registration is underway at tnghc.com for what the organizers are calling Tennessee’s largest gathering of housing professionals.
