Live music and fireworks at Liberty Fest

Celebrate the 4th of July a few days in advance with food, crafts, entertainment and fireworks. Entertainment headliners include Cody McCarver, Joyscout, Roger Alan Wade, Davey Smith, Nathan Farrow, Chris McDaniel and the Stratoblasters. Bring lawn chairs and blankets, and wear cool, comfortable clothes. Location: 1517 Tombras Avenue in East Ridge.

The Chattanooga River Market is held weekly at the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This new market includes live music, produce, art vendors and more.

All American Summer Sunday at Hunter Museum

The Hunter Museum of American Art will blend its annual All American Summer event with its Free First Sunday for July as it brings Sewanee-based college rock band The Culprits to the terrace. Doors open at noon and close at 4:30 p.m.. Easy Auto supports First Free Sundays.

Street Food Tuesdays moves to Thursdays

This summer, Warehouse Row will be hosting Chattanooga’s food trucks –Famous Naters, Taste of Argentina, Taco Sherpa, Monkey Town Donut, Pure Sodaworks and Cadence Coffee – Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In-Town Gallery presents “See Through” exhibit

Coyee Shipp Langston is exhibiting her masks in partnership with FACES: The National Craniofacial Association to raise funds for the organization’s humanitarian restoration work by donating a portion of her sales during the month of July at In-Town Gallery. Her Asian-inspired works incorporate collage and found objects. View these unique pieces and meet the artist at the opening reception from 5-8 p.m.

2012 Nightfall Music Series

Dirty Bourbon River Show will perform their eclectic style of folk gypsy circus rock at Miller Plaza in downtown Chattanooga beginning at 8 p.m. Their soulful sound serves as “entrance music for a magical mystery tour of whiskey-soaked French Quarter back alleys,” says one critic. The Nightfall Concert Series is held each Friday night – rain or shine.

Free Bike2Work Breakfast
