First Horizon National Corporation will bring together its family of companies under a unified set of brand names and a new logo.
This fall, Capital Bank, First Tennessee Bank, FTB Advisors and FTN Financial will become First Horizon Bank, First Horizon Advisors and FHN Financial, respectively.
The unification of First Horizon’s banking, wealth management and fixed income businesses under a common First Horizon brand represents a step forward in the company’s transformation strategy.
The brand will be introduced this fall through an advertising campaign, rebranding of financial centers, corporate buildings and customer communication channels. Enhancements for customers include new products, improved technology and customer innovation labs.
“First Tennessee Bank will become First Horizon Bank this fall,” says Jay Dale, Chattanooga market president. “Our new brand unites all our lines of business under the First Horizon brand, so whether you bank at Capital Bank in Key West or at First Tennessee on Market Street, you’ll be banking with First Horizon.”
Customers will not need to make changes to their accounts or automatic payments. Existing checks are still valid, though new check orders will feature the new bank name.
