Just what the doctor ordered
The Chattanooga History Center will present “Just What the Doctor Ordered: A History of Medicine in Chattanooga” at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 in the History Center’s meeting room. East Ridge State Fair
The East Ridge State Fair will take place Thursday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28 at Camp Jordan, located at 323 Camp Jordan Parkway. The event will include rides, fair food, live music, and more. Advance tickets are available at www.ticketoven.com/eastridgestatefair.
ReptiDay Chattanooga
ReptiDay Chattanooga will take place Saturday, July 4. ReptiDay will feature hundreds of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, spiders, and small exotic animals. Top breeders and vendors will have animals, merchandise, cages, supplies, live feeders, and more on hand, as well as be available to offer advice about the animals, their habitats, feeding, and care. In addition, seminars by industry experts will educate and entertain throughout the day. Many of the seminars feature live animals and the opportunity for guests to interact with them. ReptiDay Chattanooga will be held at the Camp Jordan Arena in East Ridge. The doors open to the general public at 10 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Visit www.reptiday.com for ticket information.
Wine Over Water
The 21st Annual Wine Over Water will take place Saturday, Oct. 3. Hosted by Cornerstones, the event will incorporate hundreds of wines as well as local food and music. The event weekend will start with the Best Cellars wine tasting event on Friday, Oct. 2 at 5:30 p.m. at the Chattanoogan Hotel. Wine Over Water will follow on Saturday, with the gates opening at 3:30 and wine tastings starting at 5 p.m. on the Walnut Street Bridge. The event will feature food from local restaurants, more than 300 wines from nearly 100 wineries, and local music. Ticket information can be found at www.wineoverwater.org.
