The Tennessee Bar Association has elected Jennifer Exum, estate planning and probate administration attorney at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, as the chair of the TBA Estate Planning and Probate Section. With more than a decade of experience, Exum counsels Chambliss clients in the areas of estate administration, estate planning, conservatorships, tax, estate-related litigation and general civil litigation.
Exum previously served as the vice chair of the TBA Estate Planning and Probate Section, overseeing activity for nearly 700 members. The section keeps members informed of changes in the law related to estate planning and probate matters through regular newsletters and online educational content and produces an all-day live CLE program each year.
Exum has served on the section’s executive council as an Eastern Division delegate since 2008, when she succeeded former Hamilton County Clerk and Master, S. Lee Akers.
