Republic Parking System and First Things First celebrated the ribbon-cutting and official dedication of the new “Family Lot to benefit First Things First” on Monday, May 5.

The parking lot is located at the old EPB Building Site on Market Street between 5th and 6th Streets. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce coordinated the event.

Republic Parking System and General Manager Britton Stansell are donating a portion of the proceeds from the lot to benefit the programs of First Things First. “We at Republic Parking System have tremendous respect for the mission of FTF,” said Stansell. “We’ve seen firsthand how hard they work to build strong families in our community. It’s our privilege to partner with them, and to help them continue this important work.”

“We’re thrilled to have this amazing opportunity with Republic Parking,” said Julie Baumgardner, president and CEO of First Things First. “By utilizing this lot, individuals will be helping us transform lives across the region. We are truly grateful to Britton Stansell and Republic Parking for their generosity.”
