Southern hospitality met Latin flair Saturday, May 2 as Chattanooga State’s International Outreach Office hosted its first Latin Festival in the Highland Park neighborhood downtown.
The festival was designed as a free community celebration, with proceeds supporting Chattanooga State’s adult basic education and English as a second language programs.
The event featured traditional folkloric dance, musical performances by local and regional artists, a parade of nations, an authentic food court, a soccer tournament, art, a Hispanic heritage fashion show, and more.
