In a celebration of academic excellence and community involvement, Greater Chattanooga Realtors has awarded $4,000 scholarships to five outstanding high school seniors from across the region. Chosen from nearly 40 applicants, the recipients were recognized for their academic achievement, leadership and dedication to their communities.
This year’s honorees are:
• Mia Anzlee Smith, Sequatchie County High School
• Azairah Reed, Dade County High School
• Lena Marie Skiles, Soddy Daisy High School
• Zalven Gage Welch, Soddy Daisy High School
• Mason Parks Lillard, Signal Mountain High School
”We’re proud to recognize these outstanding scholarship recipients,” says Ellis Gardner, president of Greater Chattanooga Realtors. “At Greater Chattanooga Realtors, we believe in investing in the future, and these students embody the hard work, resilience and passion that will help shape stronger communities. Congratulations to each of you. You inspire us all.”
The scholarship program, now an annual tradition, is a cornerstone of the organization’s commitment to community engagement and youth empowerment. Applicants were evaluated through a comprehensive selection process that included academic performance (with a required minimum GPA of 2.5), a personal application, an introductory video and a letter of recommendation.
The committee responsible for reviewing the submissions and selecting the recipients included CEO Carol Seal, Committee Chair Gacomo Gunneson, board of directors liaison Denise Murphy, staff liaison Jessica Snyder and incoming 2026 President Connie Powell Brewer.
The organization plans to continue the scholarship program in 2026.
