Attorney J. Mitchell Barton is now serving the corporate and health care practice areas at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel.
With a background in corporate and health care law, Barton assists clients in navigating corporate governance, policy development, commercial contract negotiation and risk management matters.
He also guides clients through health care regulations, providing counsel on regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, HIPAA compliance, licensing, reimbursement and corporate documentation.
Barton serves as the secretary for Friends of the O’Brien Watershed and was a member of the TVA Economic Development Rural Leadership Institute. In addition, he served on the Board of Examiners for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence.
Barton graduated magna cum laude from Carson-Newman University and summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee.
