Clean and Green
Downtown Chattanooga’s annual cleanup and beautification event, Clean and Green, will take place Saturday, April 29, 8 a.m.-noon. Clean and Green is a volunteer program that focuses on litter removal and beautification projects throughout Downtown Chattanooga and the surrounding neighborhoods. Businesses, civic groups, families and individuals are welcome to participate. All supplies, such as garbage bags and gloves, will be provided.
Check in and assignment of cleaning areas and projects will occur at Miller Plaza, 850 Market Street, at 8 a.m. A volunteer breakfast will be served.

Cam Busch health lecture
CHI Memorial Foundation and Hunter Museum of American Art are co-presenting the annual Cam Busch Endowed Arts for Health Lecture Series. This year’s event will be held Thursday, May 18 at 5 p.m. at Hunter Museum. Dr. Ysaye Barnwell will return as the guest performer and speaker.
Individual tickets are $50 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, a host bar, a performance by Barnwell and admission to Hunter Museum.
