BTI Consulting Group has recognized Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel attorneys William Aiken, William Pickering and Justin Furrow as 2019 Client Service All-Stars.
The annual ranking honors lawyers nominated by corporate counsel of Fortune 1000 companies and other major businesses. Aiken, Furrow and Pickering are among a group of 335 attorneys selected nationwide for delivering “incomparable levels of client service excellence,” Chambliss Bahner says in a news release.
Aiken is one of only two attorneys in the country named a Super All-Star. He received recognition from multiple general counsel and legal decision makers. A client whose testimonial is recorded in BTI’s 18th Annual Client Service All-Stars report said, “He can explain complex matters simply without making you feel stupid or wasting your time.”
Aiken was recognized for his work in mergers and acquisitions. His practice focuses on corporate law, commercial contracts and business transactions. His clients include several large manufacturers, health care providers and other significant businesses.
Pickering has been a Client Service All-Star seven times. He was recognized for his work in labor and employment law. He serves as labor and trial counsel for some of the Chattanooga area’s largest companies and has successfully defended high stakes business and employment cases in multiple states.
This is the first year Furrow has been listed as a Client Service All-Star. He was recognized for his work in labor and employment law. He regularly counsels clients in various industries including manufacturing, education, transportation and health care on complex employment-related matters.
Furrow has successfully defended and assisted clients in federal and state courts across the country and before numerous administrative agencies.
“Having honest client feedback is important to our firm and client-service strategy,” says Mike St. Charles, managing shareholder of Chambliss. “Bill Aiken, Justin Furrow and Bill Pickering are extremely skilled attorneys who put the client first. This recognition speaks to their dedication to exceeding client expectations, and we’re not surprised that each of them is recognized for the exceptional advice and results they consistently provide.”
The BTI Client Service All-Stars list is derived from independent interviews with hundreds of corporate counsel and executives at Global 500 and Fortune 1000 organizations. Attorneys are nominated by unprompted client submissions and All-Star finalists are selected for their commitment to client service.
