The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce presented the 2016 Small Business Awards to four recipients last month at its 34th annual Small Business Awards Luncheon.
Small businesses – from small tech startups to your local garden center or favorite neighborhood restaurant – are vitally important to our region," said Bill Kilbride, Chattanooga Chamber president and CEO. Almost 95 percent of our business members fall in the category of small business as defined by our award criteria, and we celebrate that today."
The recipients are:
- Dish T’Pass (1-20 employees)
- The Barn Nursery (21-50 employees)
- Ruby Falls (51-200 employees)
- Northside Neighborhood House (nonprofit category)
More than 1,200 area business leaders attended the event honoring 12 local companies. Before and after the awards luncheon, attendees explored EXPO Chattanooga, the region's largest tradeshow for local business featuring more than 230 exhibitors.
