5th Annual Palate 2 Palette set for April 14

The Craniofacial Foundation of America will host Palate 2 Palette on April 14. Palate 2 Palette is an evening dedicated to celebrating the arts in the historic Southside District. The event kicks off Saturday at 5 p.m. with the Gallery Stroll. Guests will stroll through the Southside Galleries viewing fine art while meeting featured artists and enjoying fine wine and cuisine at each location. In addition, a Youth Gallery Exhibit will feature art from high school students from Chattanooga and the surrounding areas.

One of the most anticipated venues each year is the Living Art Gallery, which will be held at the Loose Cannon Studios. This year, the Living Art Gallery will feature Tracy Lee Stum, an internationally recognized street painter from Ventura, Calif., who specializes in interactive chalk art.

After the stroll, guests are invited to Track 29 for the Bubbles & Sweets party, sponsored by Volkswagen Group of America, Chattanooga Operations. Attendees will enjoy champagne and desserts while listening to the sounds of Willie Kitchens and his band.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Craniofacial Foundation of America. The CFA is a non-profit organization that supports the work of the Tennessee Craniofacial Center at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger and Erlanger Health Systems. The Foundation is dedicated to helping patients with facial deformities and is led by Dr. Larry Sargent. The CFA assists patients from across the United States and sponsors a mission trip called “Project Happy Faces.”
