Kevin Wade is the new director of sales at homebuilder RP Communities. Wade brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate to bear on developing and executing sales strategies, managing the RP sales team and fostering relationships with brokers, agents and homebuyers.
A longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Wade recently relocated to Tennessee. In addition to his years as a real estate broker, his previous experience includes a stint as the director of sales and marketing for one of the largest homebuilders in America, where his team doubled its sales numbers during his tenure.
Arnold to head McLemore’s Highlands
Brandon Arnold is returning to McLemore as the new PGA head golf professional for the resort’s Highlands Course, an award-winning Rees Jones and Bill Bergin par 71 course that plays 7,055 yards from the tips. Arnold most recently served as the head golf professional at Council Fire, where he was responsible for all aspects of operations for the golf facility.
Arnold’s roots at McLemore go back to 2016, when he served as golf professional – first assistant. During the transition from Canyon Ridge to McLemore Resort, Arnold served as one of the team members responsible for the $6 million expansion of the semi-private course.
Arnold was also responsible for all aspects of planning, coordinating and executing multiple tournaments. In addition, he was responsible for selecting and purchasing golf course and pro shop furnishings and merchandising for the new club.
Arnold has been a PGA member in good standing since 2020. He attended both Bryan College and Covenant College. Arnold and his family live in Ooltewah.
Erlanger welcomes family medicine physician
Dr. Allan Akin has joined the team of family medicine providers at Erlanger Primary Care.
Akin grew up in West Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He then moved to Memphis, where he completed his master’s degree in pharmacology. He later completed his medical degree and family medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine at Chattanooga.
Akin’s specialty in family medicine includes providing comprehensive primary care for queer and gender-affirming hormone therapy patients. Akin practices at Erlanger Primary Care at 1200 Pineville Road in Chattanooga.
Signal Centers adds Armstrong in operations
Signal Centers has tapped Travaar Armstrong to serve as its new deputy operations officer. Armstrong will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s operational structure. He has experience leading projects in technology and retail and has served in various nonprofit roles in Chattanooga and Cleveland. Armstrong holds a degree in information technology, an MBA and is a nine-year veteran of the Virginia Army National Guard.
