The Chattery’s annual adult egg hunt will return to Sculpture Fields Saturday, March 3. The hunt will take place from 1-3 p.m. The nonprofit is partnering with local artists to create evergreen wooden eggs. Traditional eggs filled with candy and prizes donated by local businesses will also be available to find. Easter Sunrise Service
The Salvation Army of Chattanooga will host its annual Easter Sunrise Service at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Avenue) Sunday, March 31, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The Salvation Army will provide complimentary coffee and doughnuts.

Fashion Show
Northside Neighborhood House will host “100 Years of Women and Fashion” Thursday, April 4, at Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall. The event will take place 7-9 p.m. and feature items from the nonprofit’s thrift stores. Tickets cost $50 each and can be purchased at nnhouse.org/events/fashionshow. Drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be available. Models will walk the runway in styles that represent each decade of NNH’s existence.

UTC Faculty Spotlight
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga College of Arts and Sciences and the CAS Access and Inclusive Excellence Committee will host the annual CAS Spotlight on Faculty Excellence at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in the University Center Auditorium.
Now in its third year, the Spotlight on Faculty Excellence series recognizes outstanding CAS faculty and provides them a platform to share their research, scholarship and creative activity with the UTC campus and Chattanooga community. This year’s honoree is biology Dr. Jose Barbosa.
Barbosa will give a lecture titled “Cultivating Tomorrow’s Scientists.” His talk will focus on his career mentoring students through his research projects and how urban gardening might contribute to increased food security, human nutrition and mental health. A Q&A and reception will follow the presentation.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees will receive plants from Barbosa’s greenhouse. Register

MLK Day of Service
The city of Chattanooga rescheduled the annual MLK Day of Service to April 4-6 after inclement winter weather forced the cancellation of the event scheduled to take place Jan. 15. The annual service day is dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and mission to serve the community.
This will be the 12th year the city of Chattanooga and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga have organized the MLK Day of Service. Past projects have included neighborhood cleanups, tree-planting and school improvement initiatives.

Men’s Health Summit
Tennessee Men’s Health Network, Mt. Canaan Baptist Church and Purpose Point Community Health will host the 2024 Chattanooga Men’s Health Summit Saturday, April 6, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at Mount Canaan Baptist Church (4801 Highway 58). The event will be free and feature health discussions, screenings, vendors and door prizes.
