Armour Commercial Real Estate and the Catoosa County Development Authority have secured the first tenant for a 20-acre site being developed as part of a public and private partnership off Georgia Highway 2-A in Ringgold, Georgia.
The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics will open a satellite location at the site, located off Hwy 2-A across from Battlefield Imaging.
The center will be housed in a 13,000-square foot building with patient rooms and offices, a physical therapy department and on-site digital imaging.
The clinical area will accommodate four physicians and will offer same-day appointments for all orthopaedic related injuries and needs.
“The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is a great first tenant. We’ve also had interest from other healthcare facilities,” says Larry Armour, owner of Armour. “The centrally located development on a heavily-travelled thoroughfare is easily accessible and has high visibility. It will be an ideal location for a restaurant and retail outlet of any size.”
The facility is scheduled to break ground in a few weeks and open in early fall 2017. The center is represented by Parker Wamack, NAI Realty. Miller-McCoy, a civil engineering firm based in Chattanooga, and Artech Design Group designed the site and facility.
“We’ve enjoyed strong support from the residents of North Georgia for many years,” says Becky Farmer, CEO for the Center for Sports Medicine, “and we’re excited about opening a new office that allows us to bring orthopaedic specialty care and physical therapy to this community.”
Previous public and private ventures between Armour Commercial Real Estate and the Catoosa County Development Authority have resulted in more than 350,000-square feet of retail development in Catoosa County in the last five years.
“We want to thank the Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics for making a strong commitment in Ringgold and Catoosa County,” said Ringgold Mayor Nick Millwood. “We also appreciate Larry Armour’s confidence in our area. His developments have had a tremendous economic impact.”
