Newsmakers: Red Wolves select project manager




Chip Scott will serve as project manager for the Chattanooga Red Wolves Soccer Club’s professional stadium.

Scott’s background includes leading and coordinating arts and music festivals and sporting events as well as overseeing construction of performance venues and event centers.

A Baylor graduate, Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in recreation from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a master’s in educational leadership from Radford University in Virginia.

Scott has already begun mapping out the plan for construction of the stadium and is overseeing the buildout of the training center at Camp Jordan. The team is expected to begin play at the new facility in 2020.

Uddin joins Dermatology Center

Board- certified dermatologist Sabrina Uddin has joined the Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Dermatology Center. Dr. Uddin is a graduate of University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

She recently completed a three-year residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. Her written work on sun-safe behaviors for Hispanic skin has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Journal of Cancer Education.

American Water names Williams president of Tennessee branch

American Water has named Darlene Williams president of Tennessee American Water. Williams replaces Valoria Armstrong, who will lead American Waters’ national government affairs and community development efforts.

Before leading field operations in New Jersey for American Water, Williams served as executive projects coordinator, dedicated to the offices of the chief executive officer and chief operating officer. Williams also served as president of the American Water Charitable Foundation.

Earlier in her American Water career, Williams served as director of operational education and was responsible for planning and executing the corporate operations learning strategy for workforce education.

In this role, she led a team of people who worked with employees around the company to deliver training on water and wastewater operations, software applications, customer service and safety procedures.

Williams holds a degree in marketing from Florida State University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
