Newsmakers: Knight named to Pacesetter’s Club




Laura Faucette Knight, financial advisor and certified financial planner in Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management office in Chattanooga, has been named to the firm’s Pacesetter’s Club, a global recognition program for financial advisors who demonstrate high professional standards and offer exceptional client service within their first five years.

Knight is a Chattanooga native and holds a degree in business administration and economics from King University.

Hunt joins Century Club

Will Hunt, a senior vice president and financial advisor in Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management office in Chattanooga, has been named to the firm’s Century Club, a group composed of the firm’s top financial advisors.

Hunt is a native of Chattanooga. He holds a degree in psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Hunt joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2001.

CHI Memorial welcomes Holguin

Geraldo Holguin, M.D., has joined CHI Memorial Medical Group’s Buz Standefer Lung Center.

Dr. Holguin received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed fellowships at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Dr. Holguin is board certified in internal medicine, infectious diseases, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is fluent in Spanish.

Neal gets certification

Gloria Neal with Barge Design Solutions has passed the required examination and is now a licensed professional engineer in Tennessee.

Neal joined Barge Design Solutions in 2014 upon graduation from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering.

Carr achieves professional status

Andy Carr with Barge Design Solutions has passed the required examination and is now a licensed landscape architect in Tennessee.

Carr earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in plant science and landscape systems. He later returned to earn a master of landscape architecture, studying abroad in Ireland and England. He joined Barge Design Solutions in 2014.

Carr serves on the executive committee for the Tennessee Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He is the Southeast Tennessee representative.
