Bobby Bishop will serve as the Lakesite representative on the Hamilton County Water and Wastewater Treatment Authority’s board of commissioners. Bishop is a 23-year veteran of Davron Technologies, where he serves as office manager. He has an associate’s degree from Chattanooga State Community College and earned a Bachelor of Science in business from Bryan College.
CHI Memorial welcomes nurse practitioner Dowlen
Nurse practitioner John Dowlen has joined CHI Memorial Family Practice Associates in Soddy-Daisy. Dowlen earned his master of divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Master of Science in nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Dowlen is certified in basic life support, as well as nonviolent crisis intervention. He’s also an ordained minister.

Niemann hired as CEO of Chattanooga’s Skuid
Chattanooga-based business software developer Skuid has hired Ryan Niemann, former CEO of Cirrus Insight, as CEO. Skuid founder and former CEO Ken McElrath will transition to a new chief strategy officer role.
McElrath will work with Niemann and will continue to play a role in the strategic direction and growth of Skuid.
In his new role, McElrath will lead the research and development teams. His work will focus on product innovation, long-term initiatives and growth strategies.
Niemann has experience in business-to-business, software-as-a-service leadership, CRM productivity and leading companies in the growth stage. He joins Skuid from Cirrus Insight, where he oversaw a merger with Zynbit last year.
