Creative Discovery Museum will host its AmuseUm ‘24: 1995 fundraiser on Saturday, March 2, 7-10 p.m. A VIP hour will begin at 6 p.m. The museum is encouraging ticketholders to don their favorite ’90s attire for an evening of food, drinks, throwback jams, karaoke, roller skaters, caricature artwork and more. Creative Discovery Museum (321 Chestnut St.) is a nonprofit children’s museum that offers educational programs and exhibits in the arts and sciences. It opened in 1995.

Weed Wrangle Chattanooga, Greenway Farm Park
The Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors Park Stewards program is calling for volunteers to help rid Greenway Farm Park of invasive weeds as part of the 10th annual Weed Wrangle on Saturday, March 2. Volunteers will join parks staff and natural resources team members to learn plant identification and perform proper eradication methods along trails at Greenway Farm. The main goal will be privet removal along popular trails.
The Weed Wrangle will take place 9 a.m.-noon at 3008 Hamill Road in Hixson. Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors will provide gloves and tools. Volunteers will use the iNaturalist app to categorize and identify plants.

Mardi Gras Scholarship Fundraising Gala, Chattanooga Convention Center
