In 2012, sales associates with Coldwell Banker Pryor Realty sowed seeds of labor, and then reaped the rewards. On Tuesday, February 19, they also harvested a bumper crop of certificates and trophies as owners Bill and Peggy Pryor hosted the company’s annual Awards and Recognition Program at Public House. According to Ann Martin, broker of Pryor Realty’s Chattanooga office, the company handed out more awards this year than any other year in its history.
Mr. Pryor welcomed the winning agents as the event began, saying, “We’re excited about you being here, and about what you did over the last year to get here.”
Sales associate Cathy Bailey offered the invocation, prefacing her prayer by saying, “We have sold more than brick and mortar; we have sold shelter.”
As lunch began, Elizabeth Guard, Coldwell Banker executive business consultant with Realogy, the company that owns Coldwell Banker, gave a brief PowerPoint presentation outlining Coldwell Banker’s television marketing campaign for 2013. Titled “Blue Carpet,” it will target major awards and entertainment events throughout the year. More than 41 million people watched the Coldwell Banker ads that aired during the broadcast of the Academy Awards on Sunday, February 24.
“We’re using the royalty fees you pay us to do something that will put you ahead of the competition,” Guard said.
As people ate, awards were distributed in 18 categories ranging from referrals, relocation, and years of service, to sales, listings, and dollars produced, among others. Most awards were split into two categories – one for the Chattanooga office and another for the Dayton office; however, company wide and international awards were also handed out.
