The U.S. Navy Concert Band will perform at Soddy-Daisy High School Friday, Feb. 22, 7 p.m. The Navy Concert Band will present an array of marches, patriotic selections, orchestral transcriptions and modern wind ensemble repertoire. The performance will be free and open to the public.
Con Nooga returns

Chattanooga State to present ‘Carmina Burana’
Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” will be presented in the Humanities Theatre at Chattanooga State Community College on Thursday, Feb. 28, and Friday, March 1, 7:30 p.m. The performance will feature Chattanooga State’s music department, Choral Arts of Chattanooga, the Chattanooga Ballet, and Heritage High School Concert Choir. Chambliss Center for Children’s Mardi Gras Gala
Chambliss Center for Children will host its seventh annual Mardi Gras Gala on Friday, March 1, 7-11 p.m. at Bessie Smith Hall. The evening will begin with jazz piano and hurricanes in Preservation Hall. Guests will then stroll down Bourbon Street to receive their beads and preview the silent auction. The event will continue in the French Quarter with Dixieland jazz by the Ralph Miller Quartet, a late-night dance party, and a parade. The evening will feature Cajun-inspired fare.
