Jay Robinson and members of the Robinson Team of Keller Williams have concluded their “Closing for a Cause” fundraising initiative, which awards a percentage of each closing to a local charity. The effort yielded a $2,400 donation to McKamey Animal Center on behalf of the entire Robinson Team.

“McKamey Animal Center is a pillar of the Chattanooga community,” says Robinson, owner and founder of the Robinson Team. “Our agents and clients stepped up to ensure the ‘Closing for a Cause’ effort was successful. We’re grateful for their support and generosity.”

McKamey will use the funds to assist with daily operational needs such as food and medication. With total intake of over 7,000 animals since 2008, McKamey needs strong community support to continue its efforts, the Robinson Team said in a news release.

McKamey’s emergency rescue relief team is now traveling to other states to help find homes for animals caught in natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods.

“Chattanooga is a giving community, and we’re hoping our efforts will assist in helping animals find permanent homes,” Ali Robinson says. “Every member of our team is a dog owner. We’re passionate about our pets and we appreciate the work done by McKamey. We know every dollar invested there is maximized and put to great use.”
