The Camp House is teaming up with two local hospitality vendors to open a permanent home in Chattanooga’s Onion Bottom district in April.
The Camp House and Mission Chattanooga, a local church, will move to 806 E. 12th St. in March and serve as anchor tenants for the revitalized development.
The Camp House will enlist partners Plus Coffee and Friar Tuck’s to provide hospitality service in its new home.
Plus Coffee will open inside Camp House. Its existing operations include a St. Elmo coffee house and a coffee roasting business.
Friar Tuck’s Kitchen & Bar is a new restaurant inspired by the neighborhood taverns owners Alexandria and Josiah Newport frequented while living in Europe. The restaurant will feature a custom menu that centers on fresh cut fries and globally inspired cuisine along with a full-service bar.
Mission Chattanooga will own the renovated facility and provide a permanent home for both itself and Camp House.
