Chambliss hires two, promotes one

Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel has welcomed two new hires – Erin Donahue and Susan Jones – and announced the promotion of Jennifer Ball.

Donahue will serve as the firm’s talent development coordinator, while Jones will support the labor and employment section as a paralegal. In addition, Ball was promoted to a paralegal in the litigation section.

With over five years of agency, executive and corporate recruitment experience, Donahue will work with the director of talent and employee engagement to develop recruitment, talent retention and employee engagement initiatives.

Donahue has a successful track record of recruiting and placing candidates in various roles in the U.S. and Canada. She is a graduate of the University of Florida.

Jones has over 30 years of paralegal experience assisting clients with litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as administrative proceedings before agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor.

She holds degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Samford University.

As a previous legal assistant with 15 years of experience in the industry, Ball will assist Chambliss’ litigation section by drafting pleadings, handling correspondence, conducting document reviews and production, maintaining effective communication with clients and assisting the group’s attorneys.

Before working at Chambliss, Ball served the Tennessee Department of Human Services in the child support division, where she managed administrative child support modifications, aided the juvenile court, participated in alternative dispute resolutions and supported attorneys.

Ball is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is a member of the Tennessee Paralegal Association.
