Local Crye-Leike offices celebrated a year of growth during their 2017 kickoff recently at Chattanooga Golf and Country Club.
Sales in the Chattanooga region in 2016 increased eight percent to $438 million on 2,447 units closed. Crye-Leike’s Ooltewah experienced the greatest gain, with 34 percent more sales than in 2015.
About 200 of Crye-Leike’s 270 local agents were present to hear Dan Griess, the company’s general manager for the Chattanooga region, deliver the good news.
In other numbers, Crye-Leike welcomed 45 new sales associates in 2016. These and other agents took advantage of the 361 hours of training the company offered throughout the year.
During the kickoff, Crye-Leike honored its local agents with a plethora of awards. Some of these included: Ryan Ireland, Rookie of the Year; Jim and Philomena Davis, Outbound Referral Superstars and Top Producing Team; and Liz Reinsel, Top Producing Agent.
Two businesses associated with Crye-Leike also awarded their top producers at Crye-Leike for 2016. Realty Title honored the team of Jannis and Tim Sams as their top referring agents, while Global Home USA recognized Mollie Majors for selling the most home warranties.
Dot Heggie was recognized for her 18 years of service as the managing broker of Crye-Leike’s Signal Mountain office. She will soon be stepping down as broker but remain an agent with the company.
Crye-Leike CEO Harold Crye attended the event and announced his goals for the Chattanooga area offices in 2017. These include $470 million in sales volume, which will represent a seven percent uptick from 2016.
He also called for more agents to join the company’s local offices and for agents to increase their listing inventory.
While Crye said the goals are ambitious, he also said he believes the Chattanooga area team can rise to the occasion.
“Thank you for the terrific job you do taking care of our customers,” he said. “I wish you great success in 2017.”
