The Home Builders Association of Greater Chattanooga will host its 47th Tri-State Home Show February 22 through 24 at the Chattanooga Convention and Trade Center. The show will feature more than 470 booths that will showcase every conceivable product for the home. From kitchens, bathrooms and patios, to sunrooms, windows and doors, to an improved man cave, the show promises to be memorable.
In addition to children’s activities, Saturday will see the return of the Star Wars characters that made a huge splash during last year’s show. Kids wanting to be in a picture with Darth Vader or a Storm Trooper will want to be at the show between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Race Car driver John Andretti will be on hand throughout the weekend as well, and on Sunday, Lookout Louie will be giving away 500 Lookout tickets to children.
Show hours include Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $7 each. Children 16 and under are free. Attendees that bring a can of food on Saturday will get $1 off the price of their ticket. The canned goods will go to the Chattanooga Food Bank. The Home Builders Association will be donating a portion of the show’s proceeds to Habitat for Humanity and the Chattanooga Red Cross.
