The mergers and acquisitions and real estate teams at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel assisted See Rock City with the acquisition of the Chanticleer Inn in December.
The bed-and-breakfast is located at the top of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, making it a convenient location for out-of-town guests that visit Rock City Gardens, the firm says in a news release.
Attorneys Jed Roebuck and Kirby Yost led the deal, which closed Dec. 13.
Built in 1927, Chanticleer has 17 European-style guest rooms and one cottage featuring two deluxe suites made from local mountain stone.
Chanticleer became a Select Registry Distinguished Inn for North America in 2003.
See Rock City President and CEO Doug Chapin calls Chanticleer “a real gem.”
“My parents, Bill and Joan Chapin, were partial owners of the inn in 2002. They sold their interest in the business a year later to focus on growing See Rock City,” Chapin says in a news release from See Rock City. “We’re excited to welcome Chanticleer back into our family of businesses.”
