1. Mark 10:46-52 tells the story of Jesus healing a blind man named Bartimaeus in Jericho. After Jesus healed him, Bartimaeus became a follower of Jesus. 2. One night David couldn’t sleep and went for a walk on the roof. There he saw Bathsheba bathing and had her brought to him. 3. Mary and Joseph took Jesus to see Simeon for a blessing. Before they arrived, God told Simeon that he would see “the Lord’s Christ” before he died. Simeon blessed baby Jesus and told Mary just how special Jesus would be. 4. The first year that Belshazzar was king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream of four beasts that rose out of the sea. The first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. The dream was interpreted for him as the beasts being four kingdoms that would rise; the fourth kingdom would destroy the other kingdoms. 5. Cornelius was living in Caesarea when an angel of the Lord appeared to him. 6. Isaiah 6:1 says, “In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple”. 7. While drinking and feasting with thousands of people in his kingdom, Belshazzar saw a hand write words on a wall. 8. Saul was on his way to Damascus to imprison any disciples he found in the city when he was surrounded by a bright light. Jesus instructed Saul to go into Damascus, where he would find someone to help him. When the light disappeared, Saul was blind. He was blind for three days before a disciple of Jesus named Ananias came to restore his sight. After his sight was restored, Saul believed and was baptized. 9. Before Stephen died, he prayed for God to receive him into Heaven and to forgive those who had stoned him. 10. Elisha and Elijah were crossing the Jordan River when Elijah asked Elisha what he wanted before Elijah was taken away. Elisha asked for a double portion of Elijah’s spirit. Elisha was granted the double portion and Elijah was taken up to Heaven in a chariot of fire. v
