Inga Fricke has joined McKamey Animal Center as its new executive director. Fricke brings a long history in animal sheltering to McKamey. After managing private and public shelter facilities in Ohio and Virginia, she spent many years working at the Humane Society of the United States promoting best practices and supporting animal sheltering organizations around the world.
Regional CEO peer advisory board selects Stein as member
Vistage Worldwide has selected Krista Stein, owner and president of Earthscapes in Chattanooga, to be a member of a chief executive peer advisory board in East Tennessee. Stein joins over 250 senior executives, business owners and CEOs across the state of Tennessee who are Vistage members.
Vistage members meet monthly with peers from local non-competing businesses to help one another improve their companies and themselves. Membership is by invitation only and requires a nomination and selection process.

Experienced education finance professional joins Hamilton Schools
Mary Ellen Heuton, CPA, is joining Hamilton County Schools as the chief financial officer.
She will replace Brent Goldberg, who transitioned to the private sector earlier this year.
Heuton comes to Hamilton County from the University of Montevallo in Alabama, where she served as vice president of business affairs.
Before Montevallo, Heuton served as senior vice president for finance and as the chief financial officer of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
Heuton began her career in finance in the private sector in the Atlanta area.
She has served as a senior accountant, division controller and operations manager for Elavon, CIT Group and BVT Management Services.
Certifications and professional affiliations for Heuton include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of College and University Business Officers and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
