GCAR and TREES shake on free classes

Under the leadership of 2012 President Mark Hite, the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors continues to focus on providing value-added services to its members and MLS Participants. As part of that ongoing effort, GCAR is partnering with Tennessee Real Estate Education Systems to provide free continuing education classes in 2013. Said classes will be held at the GCAR office at 2963 Amnicola Highway and will cover numerous topics, including but not limited to the Georgia and Tennessee contract forms, fair housing, mortgage fraud, foreclosures, short sales and property management.

TREES offers courses to real estate practitioners of all specialties – residential, commercial and appraisal. “Outsourcing is growing trend among Realtor Associations, and TREES is a longtime provider of pre-licensing and continuing education for real estate professional across the region,” said Hite.

Ron Oslin, president and co-owner of TREES, said, “It is going to be a privilege to work with GCAR. TREES will continue offering real estate, appraisal, home inspection, and continuing education courses, as we have done for the past 37 years.”

In a recent meeting with Oslin to discuss GCAR’s 2013 course offerings, GCAR President-Elect Mark Blazek commented, “With TREES being based in Chattanooga and our ongoing effort to add value to one’s Association membership, our partnership is a natural fit. Through our partnership, we look forward to providing relevant and topical courses to help our members succeed in their business and enhance the consumers’ experience when working with a Realtor.”
