Sarah Baker, M.D., has joined CHI Memorial Medical Group. Baker earned her medical degree at East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado Denver and Health Science Center in Aurora. Baker is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Baker will see patients at CHI Memorial Chattanooga Internal Medicine Group. The practice is located in the Memorial Plaza building at 605 Glenwood Dr. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Tim Ryder, APN, joins CHI Memorial
Tim Ryder, APN, has joined CHI Memorial Convenient Care – Signal Mountain. Ryder received bachelor and master degrees in nursing from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale. Ryder was previously with the hospital medicine team at CHI Memorial, performing medical consultations, new admissions, follow-up daily visits and discharge visits. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Rodney Arnold joins La Paz board
Dr. Rodney Arnold will assume the La Paz board chair position for the remainder of former Chattanooga Police Chief Fred Fletcher’s term.
Arnold is the founder and director of Clínica Médicos and assistant professor of family medicine at UT College of Medicine Chattanooga. He has extensive experience working within the Latino community.
Fletcher left Chattanooga in July and has led the organization from Colorado since his departure. He will remain on the board of directors.
