Attorney Elisa Fox will serve the real estate and construction practice areas at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, the firm announced this week.
“Given the rapidly changing real estate market and businesses continually adapting to meet demand, Elisa is a valuable addition to our team,” says Real Estate Section Chair Kirby Yost. “We look forward to leveraging her vast experience to further assist our clients in all areas of our real estate work.”
Fox specializes in commercial and residential real estate development and construction projects. She often assists clients with the acquisition, disposition and development of commercial assets, including mixed-use, multifamily, office, retail and industrial properties.
She also represents owners, developers, contractors and lenders in construction transactions and disputes.
Fox’s practice also involves preparing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, conveyance instruments, deed and use restrictions, and reviewing title documents, surveys and other due diligence items.
Fox has extensive experience as both corporate and in-house counsel.
Before relocating to Tennessee, Fox was involved in the National Association of Women in Construction, the State Bar of Texas’ construction and real estate sections and the Eldon B. American Inn of Court.
Fox was also featured as a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2015-2020 and a Fort Worth Texas Magazine Top Attorney from 2014-2020.
She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in business administration and earned her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law.
