Moxy Chattanooga, River City Company and The Tomorrow Building will host a grownup match of musical chairs on Friday, Oct. 26, 6 p.m., in Miller Park. As many as 100 adults, 18 and older, can participate. The first-place winner will receive a complimentary one-night stay at the Moxy Chattanooga.
Online pre-registration is open and suggested for anyone who would like to play. Check in for pre-registered participants will take place from 6-6:30 p.m. Unclaimed spots will be given to walk ups between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. The game will start at 7 p.m. Pre-register
Second annual EggFest
Elder’s Ace Hardware will host Tennessee’s second annual Scenic City EggFest on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Collegedale Commons,4950 Swinyar, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. The net proceeds will benefit the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
Visitors can expect to sample smoked barbecue, grilled pizza and baked desserts and enjoy live music, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. A variety of cooking classes will be offered throughout the day from Aaron Hoffman of Hoff Sauce, Kevin Ward of 441 South in Canton, Georgia, Tim Hernquist of Pizza Porta in Atlanta and Chris Grove of Nibble Me This in Knoxville.

The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga will present its 36th annual Equal Opportunity Day Breakfast on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 7:30-9 a.m., at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Janet Marie Stovall, UPS’s executive communications manager and speechwriter, will be this year’s keynote speaker. Mad Priest Coffee & Cocktails grand opening
Mad Priest Coffee & Cocktails will swing open the doors of its 18th century European woodwork meets Ottoman Empire tilework space on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. The bar’s full food and drink menu will be available each night along with live music and special deals. Located at 719 Cherry St. in downtown Chattanooga, Mad Priest is a craft coffee and cocktail bar offering breakfast and lunch options and small plates at night in addition to coffee and cocktails.
A night to honor Israel
Christians United for Israel, along with churches in North Georgia, North Alabama and Southeast Tennessee, are inviting the community to “A Night to Honor Israel” on Thursday, Nov. 1, 7 p.m., at the Colonnade, 264 Catoosa Circle, in Ringgold, Georgia. The event is open to the public. There is no cost to attend.
Erick Stakelbeck, the director of the Christians United for Israel’s CUFI Watchman Project and host of “The Watchman” program on TBN, will speak. Musical group Adams Voice will perform.
A complimentary reception will follow. All people are welcome regardless of religion or denomination.
Decorating clinics taught by White House decorator
White House volunteer decorator Brandon Carruth will host decorating clinics the first three Saturdays in November at The Great Christmas Shop in Chattanooga. The clinics will focus on how to decorate a tree, mantle and wreath. The events are free but require registration.
