The city of Chattanooga’s Office of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy will soon launch a new event series in partnership with the Chattanooga Public Library called “Culture on 4.”
The series will debut Saturday, Nov. 2 with a conversation between WTCI’s Alison Lebovitz and writer and producer Brent Forrester, known for Emmy-winning shows such as “The Simpsons,” “The Office,” “King of the Hill” and more.
The event will take place from 6:30-9 p.m. on the fourth floor of the downtown branch of the library.
Arts, Culture and Creative Economy senior director Carmen Davis says the city is looking forward to introducing “Culture on 4” as a platform for creative dialogue in Chattanooga.
“We’re bringing nationally renowned talents like Brent to our community in the hope of inspiring local artists, writers and innovators.
These conversations will be an opportunity for anyone passionate about the arts to gain insights and be motivated by those who have shaped the entertainment industry.”
The Nov. 2 event will feature introductions from Davis and Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly, followed by Lebovitz’s conversation with Forrester.
“Public libraries are a place to learn and create,” says library Executive Director Will O’Hearn, “and there’s no better place to do that than our fourth floor, where we offer more than 12,000 square feet of space and technology for artists and entrepreneurs of any skill level.”
