The Chattanooga office of Miller & Martin recently welcomed the addition of Megan Welton and Matthew Bryson.
Welton has joined the firm as an associate in the Labor & Employment department, focusing on matters involving civil rights claims, including those alleging harassment and discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violation, breach of contract, and actions brought under other employment related state statutes. Prior to joining Miller & Martin, she held several legal internships and externships throughout the state of Tennessee.
Welton earned a J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law as the recipient of the Herbert Herff Presidential Law Scholarship, awarded for academic merit. She obtained a B.A. in English from Sewanee: The University the South.
Bryson has joined the firm’s corporate department as an associate, focusing his practice on general corporate and securities issues, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transaction, and matters involving start up and emerging companies.
Bryson graduated from Emory University School of Law, where he completed Emory’s Transactional Law certificate program and was a member of the Corporate and Business Law Society. He received a B.A. in International Relations and minor in Social Entrepreneurship and Non-profit Organization Management from Samford University.
