CAR offer fire prevention at Latino Fair

During the Latino Fair at East Side Elementary school, the Chattanooga Association of Realtors was on hand to encourage individuals to sign up for smoke alarms to be delivered and installed in their homes. This effort was a huge success, with 75 families or individuals signing up for the service. To encourage fair goers to visit their booth, the CAR was also distributing goodie bags filled with fire safety tips, coloring books, reasons why to use a Realtor and fire chief hats for children. The smoke alarms will be installed during two weekends in October. Also at the Latino fair were booths on disease prevention, the Readmobile and free spinal screenings, vision tests, dental checkups and HIV/AIDs testing.
