Parkridge Health System will open Parkridge North emergency room Oct. 5 at 7 a.m. The new ER is located at 7402 Lee Highway, between the Shallowford Road and Bonny Oaks Drive exits off I-75.
Parkridge North will offer access to emergency services to communities in the northeastern part of Chattanooga. The facility will provide emergency medical services to patients of all ages.
The 12,000-square-foot ER features routine patient rooms as well as rooms designed specifically for bariatrics, behavioral health, decontamination and isolation, pelvic exams and trauma and resuscitation.
Physicians, nurses and technicians will staff Parkridge North around the clock and utilize an array of diagnostic capabilities and support services, including CT and diagnostic X-ray, an on-site laboratory, pharmacy oversight and radiology support.
The new ER is the first phase of a broader vision for Parkridge North. The second phase will include a medical office building that will house medical specialty offices.
