Tickets are now available for the next public performance of the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera. “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” will take place Saturday, Oct. 17, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 18, 3 p.m., at First Cumberland Presbyterian.
The program will feature a variety of upbeat and celebratory works, including Mozart’s popular “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” (“A Little Night Music”), local
composer Tim Hinck’s “Stumpjumper,” American composer Raymond Premru’s “Two Pieces for Trombone,” contemporary composer Eric Ewazen’s “Eaglehawk” and Gounod’s “Little Symphony.”
The concerts are part of the organization’s First Horizon Foundation Instrumental
Series, featuring the CSO ensembles performing for smaller, socially distant audiences at venues throughout the community.
