Blankers, Thibault join Chambliss

Attorneys Alexander Blankers and Isabelle Thibault have joined the roster at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel. The new associates will support a variety of the firm’s practice areas, including business, health care, litigation and risk management and real estate.

“We look forward to seeing Alexander and Isabelle grow in their individual practices and are excited for the future as we continue to welcome new talent to the firm,” says Mark Cunningham, president and managing shareholder.

Blankers represents corporations in complex commercial and business litigation. He specializes in construction and real estate matters and counsels businesses in cases involving defective design, construction claims, warranty issues, payment disputes, breach of contract, product liability and fraud.

Blankers also routinely represents banks in litigation concerning loan transactions, real estate lending and foreclosure proceedings.

Blankers earned a degree in nursing from Westminster University and was commissioned into the U.S. Navy upon graduation. He served as a registered nurse for six years and attained the rank of lieutenant before being honorably discharged.

Blankers then attended the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he graduated with honors.

Thibault counsels hospital-based professionals in the radiology, anesthesiology, pathology and revenue cycle management fields on regulatory and corporate health care matters. She assists clients in medical billing and coding matters, physician services, risk management, governance concerns, Medicare claims and transactional matters.

Thibault also provides counsel on involuntary commitment matters, corporate work and termination dispute management for physicians’ groups. Her experience extends to contract interpretations, negotiations, analyzing potential contract liability and guiding post-merger clients through business protection.

Thibault participated in the 3+3 legal studies program at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is an alumna of the University of Tennessee College of Law.
