The Chattanooga Department of Public Works is offering to collect live Christmas trees at any of its five recycle centers. City residents can drop off their live Christmas trees through Friday, Jan. 31. Locations and hours for the recycle centers can be found at chattanooga.gov/public-works/city-wide-services/pw-recycling.
City residents can also place their live Christmas tree curbside and place a service request with 311. Service requests submitted through the CHATT311 app using either an Apple or Android device should use the “brush collection” option. Enter “live Christmas tree pickup” in the “description” section.
City residents may also make their live Christmas tree pickup request by emailing 311@chattanooga.gov or calling 311 at 423 643-6311.
This service is for live Christmas trees only. The DPW requires a “bulky Item” request with 311 for artificial trees.
