EMJ Corporation welcomes Brent Clark as controller. In this role, Clark will oversee all accounting operations within the family of construction services companies and assist with financial affairs and analyses of operations to support financial decision-making.
Clark is a certified public accountant with nearly 20 years of experience. He most recently served as vice president of Pugh CPAs, where he primarily supported and advised clients in the construction, real estate development, manufacturing and small business industries.
Before that, Clark spent three years as chief financial officer of MEDIC Regional Blood Center, where he was responsible for financial reporting to the board of directors and CEO, all accounting operations, budgeting and human resources.
Clark graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and serves on the Associated General Contractor’s Construction Leadership Council Steering Committee.
Collins joins EMJ as sr. vice president
EMJ also welcomes Heather Collins as senior vice president of people.
In this new role, Collins will work with executive leadership to implement changes that influence EMJ’s employee culture and resources. She’ll provide overall leadership to the people department, which includes EMJ’s recruiting, training and development, benefits and employee relations teams.
Collins has more than 20 years of experience in employee resources-related fields. She most recently served as vice president of human resources for EnSafe, an engineering and environmental firm.
Collins earned a master’s degree in training, development and human resources from the University of South Florida and a bachelor’s degree from Stetson University.
