Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel has made the BTI Client Service A-Team for the ninth consecutive year. The ranking is based on interviews with corporate counsel and identifies law firms around the country that excel in client service.
BTI evaluates law firm performance from the client’s perspective and has noted how clients’ expectations of client service delivery is changing.
The report says, “For the first time since 2011, clients are changing the activities and metrics they use to evaluate – and hire – law firms. A law firm’s skill in dealing with complexity is now key in how clients define client service.”
The study’s methodology relies on one-on-one interviews with corporate counsel to detail how firms perform along 17 key activities driving client relationships.
Participants represent a broad range of industries, including banking, chemicals, consumer goods, energy, financial services, food and agriculture, health care, high tech, insurance, investment banking, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, professional services, retail trade, telecommunications, transportation and wholesale trade.
The average revenue of the organizations with the highest legal spending this year is $21.8 billion.
