The Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga is accepting nominations for its 2013 YP Awards. In its sixth year, the YP Awards recognize notable young professionals and YP friendly businesses and organizations in the greater Chattanooga area. The event, which is open to the public, will be held in place of YPAC’s monthly business development luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, February 22, at the DoubleTree Hotel downtown.
This year’s categories are Young Professional of the Year, YP-Friendly Business of the Year, YP Artist of the Year, YP Entrepreneur of the Year and the YP Civic Impact Award. The public is invited to nominate any young professional, business or organization for a YP Award.
YPAC membership is not a prerequisite for nomination. Nominations may be made across multiple categories, but individuals will be eligible for only one YP Award. Nominations will close on Friday, January 25.
The top five finalists in each category will be announced on Monday, February 4.
