Gordon is a former Chief Judge of the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review Hearing Office in Chattanooga. He has over 35 years of experience in Social Security law, including 25 years of experience as an administrative law judge deciding over 10,000 Social Security disability cases.
Gordon has legal experience working for the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and as a judge with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. He’s a retired Major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve.
Gordon received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Thomas Edison State College, his Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude, and his Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University.
