Douglas Elkins is now a member at the Chattanooga office of Miller & Martin.
Elkins is a new member of the law firm’s corporate department. He focuses his practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities and general business representation.
Elkins’ practice largely surrounds international and domestic merger and acquisition transactions and private equity, including representation of strategic acquirers, sellers, private equity funds and management funds.
He also has been involved in a number of significant acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, syndications and other transactional matters in the healthcare industry.
Elkins graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law and received his undergraduate degree in history from Davidson College.
Elkins is active in numerous civic and professional organizations, including the Chattanooga Bar Association. His involvement includes leadership roles on several committees.
